프리랜서 매거진 <프리낫프리, Free not free>를 제작하며, 수많은 프리랜서의 삶을 인터뷰하고 기록했습니다. 이 과정에서 이들의 불안정한 노동 구조에 근본적인 질문을 던지게 되었습니다. 이것이 저를 사회복지학 연구자의 길로 이끌었습니다. 질적 연구자로 심층 인터뷰 데이터를 정교하게 분석하는 능력은 에디터 시절 다져온 '텍스트에 숨겨진 맥락을 읽어내는 맥락을 읽어내는 감각'에서 비롯됩니다. 중앙대학교 사회복지학과 사회정책 전공으로 석사학위를 취득하였으며, 현장과 연구의 언어를 연결하는 작업을 하고 있습니다.
